Demolishing a fertilizer processing plant in Maardu
From 28 September to 9 of October Ecosalvager was involved in demolishing an old Soviet era fertilizer plant in Maardu. The building was mainly a steel construction yielding some 1400mt of steel. Supported on steel pillars and having a steel mesh roof the Hitachi 520 and LaBounty 4500R made quick work of the metal and the concrete. Within a week the building went from standing to a pile of scrap metal.
